Adventuredome

Adventuredome is the only theme park in Las Vegas and features the largest permanent circus on earth under one giant pink dome.

Located on the north end of the Strip, while a number of casinos have areas designated for kids including arcades and rides, and some like Excalibur even have a family theme, Circus Circus may be the only Hotel Casino in Las Vegas really “made for the family” with a list of rides and entertainment perfect for kids of all ages and adults alike.

The Adventure Dome is part of Circus Circus, but is an attraction within itself and is highly recommended for families no matter where in Las Vegas you are staying.

From the Rides Section, some of what you will see includes:

The Sling Shot - This ride shoots you toward the ceiling at 4G’s and brings you back down and 1G.

Disk O – This ride spins at 14 rotations per minute, not for those with weak stomachs.

Canyon Blaster – It may be the most popular ride in the Adventure Dome. The Canyon Blaster offers a 90 foot high view and speeds through a double loop and double corkscrew; it’s the only one of its kind in the U.S.

Other popular rides include the Inverter, Chaos, and Rim Runner. There is also an IMAX Ride Film within and a 4-D Special FX Theatre.

Cost is between $5-8 per ride. An all-day pass to the Adventure Dome is $26.95 for adults and $16.95 for children 33-47 inches tall (free for toddlers under 33 inches with a paying adult).

They have an amazing circus act which performs regularly within the dome. In addition there are all sorts of games, but the classic carnival games testing skill and luck and a number of arcade games. It is a true circus/ theme park experience.
