Imperial Palace is easily the most understated major hotel casino on the Strip, with subtly beautiful Asian architecture and all kinds of speak-easy-esc first class entertainment. Located perfectly between the excitement of Harrah’s and the old Vegas legend Flamingo, midway between Flamingo Ave. and Spring Mt. Rd. there is one gem on the 5th floor that Imperial Palace isn’t shy about, their amazing Auto Collection.
Some of the cars you might see include a 1932 Ford High Boy, 1961 Cooper Climax 2.5-Liter Formula One, a 1970 Pontiac GTO (“The Judge”), a ’57 Chevy Corvette 2832/283 Roadster, a ’71 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible, not to mention a whole array of Rolls Royces fetching up to $1.5m and many more. And the cars are on sale so the collection is constantly changing. Wanna see a $750,000 1931 Minerva 8 AL Rollston Convertible Sedan? Of course you do, that was rhetorical.
In addition to the old and amazing, they have many cars which were previously owned by celebrities like Johnny Carson, Howard Hughes, and Nicholas Cage.
$750,000 Rolstons not much more than walking around money for you? Don’t worry they have vehicles reaching the $5 million price range for those who don’t like to be seen in junkers.
Regardless of what sort of car you drive now, or even if you took the bus, this is something worth seeing for anyone who likes cars.
