Wildlife Habitat

Mid Strip between Planet Hollywood and the small casino Imperial Palace you’ll find the Flamingo, the most storied casino on the Strip and the original Strip casino. And contrasting deeply with the neon lights and excitement of this area of the Strip within the Flamingo and next to the Flamingo pool area you will find a very cool and free attraction called the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo.

This amazing treasure of wildlife is open most of the day, 8 a.m. to dusk year round. It features thick and beautiful foliage and happily frolicking in the quite realistic habitat are around 300 birds and some extremely rare species including Impeyn, Silver pheasants, Gambel’s quail, a Crow crane, and Ibis as well as more common birds like swans, ducks and parrots. It is a rainbow of colorful feathered fauna, and of course the main attraction is the beautiful and elegant pink flamingo or its lesser known moniker the Chilean flamingo.

Bored of birds? You will see all kinds of turtles and koi within the habitat as well along with other small creatures. The attraction is full of waterfalls, amazing foliage, walkways for visitors and more. This is a great attraction for visitors of all ages.
