Getting Married in Las Vegas

Sat, May 04, 2013

Despite the glitz and glitter, lights and excitement, Las Vegas is actually one of the most romantic destinations in the world. In fact, we believe we are the single most romantic destination. Who needs Paris and Venice when we have our own Eiffel Tower and Gondola rides through a casino? Okay, we’re not Paris of Venice, but more people get married here in Las Vegas than anywhere else in the world.

To see a comprehensive review for sweethearts, check out the Las Vegas for Couples section.

Here we will concentrate on the actual ceremony, including a more complete list of wedding venues, and go over a few options when you need a wedding planner, catering, and more.

Locations for the Ceremony

A lot of couples come here to elope, or if they don’t want a huge wedding but would rather skip to the honeymooning part of the affair. However, you can have a very romantic and very memorable ceremony in Las Vegas:

Las Vegas Weddings at The Grove – A beautiful outdoor venue with several options depending on the size of your wedding and your preferences.

Wedding Bells Chapel – Right across for the Hardrock, offers a beautiful intimate setting and makes it easy for your guests to party afterwards.

Vegas Wedding Chapel – Downtown beautiful indoor wedding, away from the Strip, and right across the street the wedding licensing office.

Chapel in the Clouds at the Stratosphere Tower – A very unique venue in the tallest building west of the Mississippi.

Graceland Chapel – Naturally, if you’re in Vegas, Elvis is more than happy to marry you.

And you will find this list in the Couples section as well. In addition, every casino on the Strip and Downtown has space dedicated to weddings and similar events, and this often makes your wedding way easier to plan, and easier for friends and family that are coming to Vegas for out of town. Have your Bachelor/Bachelorette party wedding, after party, and honeymoon in the same hotel if you choose. Other popular options include the various golf courses around town.

Paiute Golf Course – About 20 minutes north of the Strip, Paiute golf course has excellent accommodations for medium to large weddings with a beautiful backdrop.

Canyon Gate Country Club – Another beautiful setting overlooking Red Rock Canyon 10 minutes west of the Strip.

Angel Park Golf Club – An absolutely amazing view of the surrounding hills. You won’t find a prettier setting anywhere.

Siena Golf Club – Another very popular option

Las Vegas Golf Course – Maybe the most popular gold course in town for weddings, plus they offer planning and various packages.

There are dozens of golf courses in town, and almost all of them offer wonderful wedding venues.
