Located directly on the southwest corner of one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas, Tropicana Ave. and Las Vegas Blvd, there is always something going on at the New York-New York hotel casino. With its Manhattan cityscape, Statue of Liberty replica, and the roller coaster at New York-New York always full of thrill seekers, this casino is impossible to miss. In addition to being tons of fun for the whole family it is also home of the ESPN Zone and one will find interviews and commentary being filmed at specific times.

The New York-New York is a staple of the Las Vegas Strip and it caters to a wide range of visitors, from the young who enjoy the roller coaster, and the arcade and Coney Island experience located upstairs, to party goers who enjoy the myriad of bars and excitement… and the roller coaster, to gambling enthusiasts. It is consistently highly rated by guests and it is priced very well given its location.

This hotel is perhaps best geared toward adults under 25 to families with children a little “too old” for the games and rides at Circus Circus or Excalibur but who need to be entertained still. That said it is highly reviewed by visitors of all ages who enjoy a good time. Really the only visitor who may want to stay away is one looking for a calmer more relaxing visit because it is an exciting hotel at all hours. Booking well in advance is highly recommended and it fills to capacity regularly on holidays and busy weekends year round.

New York New York Room

Rooms

It is small by Strip standards, and especially on this corner across from the enormous MGM Grand. There are 2,023 rooms total including suites. The rooms are well kept and clean and are generally rated well, specifically for the price. New York-New York is an older casino but the rooms are fairly modern and comfortable.

Price

Here you will find some of the best prices on the Strip, and perhaps the fairest prices for a hotel casino of this caliber. Room rates are below average compared to others on the Strip, but do depend on the number available, the season, and whether it is a busy holiday or weekend. Gambling limits are also fair and depend on the clientele. Restaurants, shopping, and nightlife are all priced very well.
