While the movie was actually based on another bar located in New York and in
Las Vegas, Coyote Ugly takes its cues from the film with dancing girls and a
real party atmosphere. It is a cowboy/rock bar with loud music and more of a
club feel really. While the theme may be gritty and western, the clientele is
generally “yuppi” and middle-aged. They have a full bar and it is pricey. There
is a cover from $10 to $20 and expect to spend club prices on drinks as well. It
is located upstairs at New York – New York.
