The Rio is a popular resort located just west of the Strip on Flamingo Rd.
across from the popular Palms casino. It is a lively hotel casino with a
colorful and bright Brazilian carnival theme complete with a free carnival show
on the casino floor playing daily. They have a wide range of restaurants, bars
and other entertainment geared toward a young party crowd.
The All-American Bar & Grille has been recently renovated and features earth
tones set against rock, fire and water elements. It is a contemporary
restaurant, but with an American menu. It also has a sports lounge with 10
plasma televisions. Some of the items featured on the menu include fried
tortilla shrimp, stuffed Idaho potato skins, grilled cheese with pulled pork
bites, oyster Rockefeller, king crab leg cocktail, blue point oysters,
half-pound burgers, bacon wrapped Chilean sea bass and a variety of excellent
steaks. They also have a large collection of domestic liquor, beer and wine. The
beer and wine list is from areas across the United States.
All-American Bar & Grille is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. Average cost is
$25 to $35 per plate. Reservations are recommended.
