Dick's Last Resort

Excalibur is styled after a real castle. They stick to their theme inside and out with Medieval dress and shows like the Tournament of Kings. It is an older hotel on the Strip but has gone through a number of upgrades including 42 inch flat screen televisions in each room. This, along with Circus Circus, are the only truly “family” casinos on the Strip, and rates are fair by Strip standards.
Dick’s Last Resort is something of a legend in the restaurant business, with locations in several cities and a completely counter-intuitive approach to customer service. All of the waiters and waitresses at all of the Dick’s locations are extremely and hilariously rude, cracking jokes at guest’s expense at every opportunity. Enjoying this restaurant requires a healthy sense of humor and thick skin. If you have those you are bound to have the most hilarious lunch or dinner of your life. The menu includes barbecue, hamburgers, ribs, sandwiches, seafood, steaks, wings and other bar food. They have a full bar with generous portions.
Dick’s is open daily until late and hours may vary. Happy hour is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Average plate is around $15. No reservations.
