Aureole is an impressive seafood restaurant with a menu that changes
seasonally. Along with a vast seafood menu they serve other dishes like pork
tenderloin. It also has an impressive wine list. The atmosphere is casual and
the design is mostly empty with white walls, the focal point a very high ceiling
and interesting architectural design above the bar. It was recognized as a AAA
Four Diamond restaurant in 2005 and is still today. It won the 2005 and 2006
Epicurean Award for Best Wine List and 2005 and 2006 James Beard Award for
Outstanding Wine Service. Prices are on the high side, mostly over $35. It is
located in Mandalay Bay.
