Gordie Brown

Located right in the center of Downtown on Fremont Street, beneath the Viva Vegas Experience, the Golden Nugget is hands down the nicest resort in the Downtown area. It is also home of an amazing pool with a shark tank right in the center, and one of the largest real golden nuggets ever found. One of the most popular Downtown acts is located right here at the Golden Nugget as well, Gordie Brown.

Gordie Brown is a masterful impressionist with a wide range of voices he can take on without skipping a beat. His act includes live music, impressions, parodies, jokes, and much more. It is an interesting show in that it is not all straight impressions, most of the songs include lyrics which have been parodied like Willy Nelson’s “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before” replacing the words with allusions to Nelson’s famous enjoyment of marijuana. Other impressions include Michael Jackson, Nicolas Cage, John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Chris Rock and many more. Along with the impressions and parodies Brown inserts all kinds of humor like a story he begins to relate with the premise of auditioning for Batman. This is a great show for anyone who enjoys impressions and music with a little comedy.
