The Imperial Palace is located right at the center of the Strip, directly across from Caesars Palace and flanked by Harrah’s and The Flamingo on either side. It is designed in a Japanese style and is known for excellent rates by Strip standards and The Auto Collection, which is visited by thousands every year and features a number of classic cars owned by famous individuals. Another classic located at the Imperial Palace is Frank Marinos Divas.
Frank Marino is the longest running impressionist on the Strip with his wide range of impersonations spanning a number of divas. He starred in “La Cage” for over 20 years as a matter of fact before coming to the Imperial Palace. Some of the women Marino impersonates almost to perfection include Britney Spears, Cher, Madonna, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, Beyonce, and he even hosts his own show in the role of Joan Rivers. The show starts with Marino lip synching Lady Gaga’s “Let’s Dance” as he is backed up by a troop of attractive male back-up dancers start the party on stage. The show features a mix of great songs and comedy. One of the lines is “This damn dress is made like a cheap hotel, there’s no ballroom.” This is a great choice for an entertaining and high energy show.
