Located directly beneath Viva Vegas in the center of the Fremont experience
the Golden Nugget is the largest, nicest, and in most categories the highest
rated hotel casino in the Downtown area and it has been that way for over 60
years. It has recently undergone a complete renovation upgrading everything from
the rooms to the casino floor to the pool area. The renovations included their
spa.
The spa is a smaller but classy facility at 6,000 square feet and offers a
blissful experience in a lavish atmosphere. It has a spacious waiting area with
golden pillars and cream curtains and wall mirrors reflecting golden brown
throughout. There are 10 separate treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, herbal steam rooms
and saunas and separate male and female areas. Some of the popular treatments
include an 80 minute Lavender Dream Wrap, body scrubs and Caviar facial, foot
massages and more. The salon has a number of services as well including manicure
and pedicure. There are two fitness rooms with a cardio area and other workout
gear. It overlooks the shark tank and there are Plasma screens to keep you
occupied.
Hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and treatments are available from 8 a.m. to 7
p.m. Massages start at $130. Facility fees are $20 per day. 18 and over only.
