Located on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Spring Mt. Road, the Mirage
shares a property with TI and is right next to Caesars Palace. It is one of the
most popular destinations on the Strip, despite being one of the older casinos.
It is most easily recognized by the Volcano directly in front of the entrance
which blasts off every half an hour after dark.
Since its renovation the Spa at the Mirage offers a combination chic décor
and relaxing treatments in a trendy environment. Unlike most spa facilities, the
20,000 square foot spa stepped away from the typical tropical or earth toned
mood to incorporate simple color schemes of black, white and grey along with
artwork and metallic touches here and there. The main waiting room includes cozy
furniture with fuzzy pillows, plasma televisions and refreshments like pineapple
and cranberry juice, fruits and protein bars. There are 17 treatment rooms in
all, each with colorful bedding and textured wallpaper. Some of the treatments
include facial and body treatments that incorporate different scents, a range of
massages and a full service salon. The workout area has state-of-the-art
equi8pment including cardio machines and weights.
Hours are from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily and treatments are available from
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Massages start at $145. Facility fees are $15 per day for
guestas and $20 for non-hotel guests. Spa treatments are available Monday
through Thursday. 18 and over only.
