The Rio is an all suite hotel with an enormous casino floor and a Brazilian carnival feel. It is home of one of the most popular Vegas free shows located above the casino floor replete with high flying acrobatics, tight rope acts, jugglers and more. It is located approximately 1 block west of the Strip on Flamingo directly across from the Palms hotel casino.
The Rio Spa is a relaxing venue away from the action of the casino portion. It is decorated in light neutral colors with marble floors. It is known for excellent customer service and a well-trained professional staff. There are separate men’s and women’s entrances but most of the facilities are the same except that the men have two spas with flat screen televisions and the women’s area has one spa with hydrotherapy tubs. There is a relaxation room with comfy furnishings and water, coffee, tea, juice, pretzels and fruit. There are 19 treatment rooms in all, 4 aesthetician rooms and 15 massage rooms. Some of the treatments include Herbal Therapy Massage, Swedish Massage, an array of facial treatments, body treatments and scrubs and more. They have a fitness center, steam rooms and saunas as well.
Hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and services are available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Massages start at $120. Facility fees start at $22 per day and are waived with purchase of one of the treatments, $55 for three days, $90 for five days and $110 for 7 days. 18 and over, no smoking, alcohol or cell phones.
