Vdara is a 57 story all suite hotel located within CityCenter, which is a
section of the Strip centered around a complex of hotels, apartments, shops and
entertainment. CityCenter itself is on Las Vegas Blvd. and Harmon with easy
access to the Freeway and Dean Martin Rd. It is a “city” within the city, thus
the name. Vdara is notably one of the greenest resorts on earth and even has the
world’s first fleet of stretch limos powered by compressed natural gas. It’s
salon and spa use only paraben-free products.
This environmentally friendly spa is located on the second floor of Vdara and
is two levels. It offers a wide range of massages, facials and body treatments
all of which focus on holistic health using organic ingredients. The theme is a
natural paradise with wooden floors and waterfalls along with exotic floors. It
is a smaller spa at 18,000 square feet and only 11 treatment rooms. The men’s
and women’s areas are separate, the relaxation lounges feature natural lighting
and a refreshment bar and guests may practice yoga within the lounge. Dieticians
are available for anyone with questions about nutrition. The Salon area offers a
full range of services from hair to makeup, manicures and pedicures. The fitness
center has a variety of cardio equipment and free weights. You can by a range of
green products and other items like wellness books.
Open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the salon is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Massages start at $130. Facility fees are $25 for guests and $50 for non-guests.
18 and over only for spa facilities.
