St. Patrick’s Day Las Vegas

Are you Irish? Wanna test your Irish luck against the casinos? St. Patrick’s Day is one of the biggest party days of the year everywhere, and particularly in Las Vegas. And don’t worry if your not technically of Celtic descent, everyone is Irish on St. Patty’s – just don’t forget to wear green.

... that’s pretty much the point of the holiday as far as we can tell. But for a city that doesn’t need an excuse to party, that’s a pretty good one.

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17th, and is in celebration of Ireland’s patron Saint (387 – 493 AD). Common themes include the color green, shamrocks, clovers, leprechauns, and green beer. It is common to drink a lot of Guinness and other Irish drinks, and to spend your night celebrating in a classical Irish pub, of which there are many. Here is a short list:
