The Bellagio Fountains

The famous Bellagio Fountains are one of Las Vegas' most iconic attractions, and one of the most romantic with more than 1,200 fountains spanning 1,000 feet across Lake Bellagio, choreographed to send water soaring as high as 460 feet to create an instant romantic vibe. You can also watch the fountains from the back by walking up towards the Bellagio Hotel where there are fewer people and the view is just as good. This free show usually starts every afternoon and repeats every 15 minutes.

Where to eat

The Eiffel Tower Experience at Paris Las Vegas recreates of one of Europe's most famous landmarks, and it's as romantic as the original. The restaurant at the top at the Eiffel Tower offers views of the Strip and Bellagio Fountains across the street and serves incredible French cuisine.

Top of the World is more than 800 feet above the Strip in the Stratosphere Tower, offering amazing views of the entire Las Vegas valley whilst revolving 360 degrees. The menu is delicious, including vegan options. The wine list is also impressive. Sunset promises a particularly gorgeous view.

Hugo's Cellar at Four Queens is a long-time favourite, famous for its fabulous old-style Vegas atmosphere and gourmet menu. Perfect for your wedding anniversary is that women are greeted with a long-stemmed roses.

Alize on the 56th floor of Palms offers beautiful views of the Las Vegas Strip from floor-to-ceiling windows. The Grand Marnier soufflé or a warm chocolate fondant are both fabulously romantic desserts.

Hire a private pool cabana for the day

If you want to relax before the evening and night entertainments, you can visit any hotel and use their pool facilities just by paying their resort fee. For something a little more special, reserve a cabana to escape the afternoon heat with its own dedicated waiting staff, bottle service and flat screen television. It’s an oasis when the afternoon temperature rises. The Palazzo complex has a beautiful pool as well as stunning fountains, luxurious cabanas and lush landscaping.

Take in a show

Las Vegas has a vast range of shows. Mind-blowing shows include Cirque Du Soliel or perhaps you want to hear iconic head-liners including in 2017-18 Elton John, Britney Spears, Santana, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez. There are also Rock, Alternative, Metal, R&B, Country, Latin concerts and live music gigs by bands and singers on tour.

Day trip to the Grand Canyon

On the day of your anniversary take a helicopter tour above the Strip, through the Grand Canyon, to the Hoover Dam, everywhere with an incredible view. Packages are available for all budgets and locations.  If you have a fear of flying, drive tours leave Las Vegas for the Grand Canyon around 7am and return 13 hours later, but if you have never been before it’s well worth the trip.
