Circus Circus is located on the northern end of the Strip, set back a bit
from the Strip and across from what used to be The Sahara. This is the only
casino in Las Vegas that is centered more on the family than on gambling or
partying, though the rates and location do attract a wide variety of visitors.
It is best known for its indoor amusement park, Adventure Dome, and is certainly
not well known for romance. Despite this, it is home of the lovely Chapel of the
Fountain, where many couples are tying the knot almost daily.
The chapel was recently renovated and has a Renaissance setting and an
English garden theme. It is smaller but quite beautiful. It offers several
packages including; Traditional, with professional photos of the bride and groom
only, a boutonniere and small bouquet, Contemporary that offers the same but
with photos for the entire wedding party, Unity which includes photos for the
entire wedding party, bouquet and boutonniere and is performed using a unity
candle, Touch of Class offers a wider range of services with video in addition
to photos and bouquets and boutonnieres for the bride’s maids and groomsmen, Big
Top offers the same as the Traditional package but with one night hotel
accommodations, Center Ring offers two nights at the hotel, champagne, bridal
bouquet, maid of honor rose wrap, boutonnieres for the groom and best man, a $25
voucher for room service, video and photos, and Circus Spectacular is their most
comprehensive package with all of the services described plus a $150 restaurant
certificate and two nights at the hotel.
Services may vary but include; Non-denominational and civil services, live
broadcasting of wedding on the internet, silk and fresh flowers, hand-crafted
veils, photography and video services, bridal consultants, seating for up to 50
people. Receptions also can be handled in Circus Circus banquet rooms.
Hours may vary by season. They are usually open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
