for your guests to party afterwards.

Places to Stay
in Vegas for Couples
Vegas has something for everyone, and if you are
looking for romance you fall within the everyone category. Almost
every hotel has a number of rooms made just for couples, and many of
the off-Strip casinos are positively beautiful. Perhaps the top five
most romantic places to stay in Vegas are as follows:
The Venetian – Something about little
Italy brings out the romance in everyone. Add in the gondola rides,
wonderful restaurants, and couples-friendly atmosphere and it is
easy to see why this would be the top choice.
Paris Las Vegas – From the piano bars to
the Eiffel Tower, Paris may be the official romance capital of the
world, but can you play blackjack while you sip martinis and gawk at
the Eiffel Tower in Paris? We didn’t think so.
Bellagio –Perhaps the most opulent hotel
on the Strip, from the art gallery to the gardens your stay will be
filled with beauty. Of course the amazing water show only adds to
the mood.
Luxor – One does not generally think of
ancient Egypt when they think of romance, but the Luxor remains one
of the most unique structures in Las Vegas, and Fusia restaurant and
lounge within one of the most romantic dining areas. There spa the
Oasis is also a favorite.
Wynn – Before CityCenter was built it was
the most expensive property on the Strip. From the romantic Lagoon
to Tryst located beneath a waterfall, Wynn has a lot to offer
couples.
Restaurants
Dining is always a consideration on weddings,
honeymoons, anniversaries, or just for when you want to spend some
time with that special someone. We’ve already mentioned Fusia within
the Luxor. Some additional popular destinations for couple’s dining
are:
Top of the World – Within the
Stratosphere, this restaurant offers perhaps the best view of the
Strip in town.
Eiffel Tower Restaurant – Dine while you
take in the splendor of the water show at Bellagio.
Mon Ami Gabi – Also inside the Paris, and
right on the Strip. Say what you will about the French, they know
romance.
Mix – Offers excellent food high atop
THEhotel.
Alize – More dining in the sky at the
popular party spot Palms.
Shops
Looking for that special something for sweetie?
You can find it on the Strip and some of the best known shops
include:
Tiffany’s at Crystals – Let your credit
card say “I love you”, you’re sure to find something you’ll both
remember here.
Via Bellagio – Some unique high-end
jewelry for your lover.
Jane Carroll’s Creations or Godiva Chocolatier
– For sweethearts with a sweet tooth, at Caesar’s and Planet
Hollywood respectively.
The Forum Shops at Caesars – You can find
basically anything you are looking for, and the architecture and
atmosphere is beautiful.
Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian – Like
the forum shops, this will have just about anything you need, plus a
gondola ride.
What to Do
It’s virtually impossible to run out of things to
do in Vegas. If you’ve seen all the sites from the Bellagio water
show to the Fremont Street Experience, and you’ve caught some of the
wonderful shows for couples like Zumanity in the New York-New York,
or Phantom at the Venetian, try something that will really get your
adrenalin going... outside of the bedroom that is. Here is some fun
stuff to do for couples while you’re here:
Take a Helicopter tour of the Strip. These
take off just as the sun is setting and offer the most beautiful
view of the city possible.
Try some indoor sky diving on Convention
Center Dr. Or even do the real thing. Flights take off
periodically.
How about some friendly competition at Pole
Positions, one of the most enjoyable go-cart tracks anywhere
located right across from the Palm Hotel.
To get out of the city and closer to nature
for a day, the ATV Hidden Valley Tour is just about the most fun
you will ever have.
And if the go-carts weren’t enough for you,
check out the Exotic Driving Experience at the Las Vegas Motor
Speedway, where you can drive your dream car really, really
fast.
Other things you can fill your day with include
Bodies The Exhibition and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Luxor,
CSI: The Experience in MGM, the Secret Garden and the Mirage, roller
coasters at New York-New York, Sahara, Circus Circus, and
Stratosphere, or check out some art at Bellagio’s Gallery of Fine
Art or CityCenter Fine Art Collection. |
