Description: Las Vegas, Fountains, Paris

Las Vegas, or as what many people call it—The Sin City, attracts over 40 million visitors every year. Known for its endless list of activities for your friends and family, world-class restaurants, and glamorous five-star hotels, Las Vegas has easily become one of the places that every tourist should never miss when visiting the United States of America. There is no wonder why people keep coming back to see the flashing lights and lively music of Vegas that go on until the wee hours of the morning.

Are you planning to go anytime soon to the world-famous Sin City? Whether you are going for a fun weekend or for a shotgun wedding, this article will guide you as to what sights, spots, and fun activities you should never miss, especially for first-time visitors out there. Despite a common saying that “whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” we hope that after you have gone through all the places we have listed, you would tell other people how you have enjoyed Las Vegas.

See ‘The Fountains of Bellagio’

The iconic, magical, and world-famous Fountains of Bellagio is probably one spot you should never miss when in Vegas. It has been mesmerizing tourists and natives alike for years. Check out the dancing waters and how it captivates and draws a crowd of hundreds. The music which accompanies the dancing waters goes throughout the vicinity so that people can hear it even from afar. The song set list is available online if you wish to catch a favorite song. Daily shows start at three in the afternoon and 11 in the morning during Sundays.  This spot is also good for your selfies, so do not forget to bring out your smartphones.

See ‘The Stratosphere Tower’

The Stratosphere Tower is the tallest observation tower in the USA. Standing at 1,149 feet, though this tower is not for the faint of heart, the view which you can get from above is priceless. There are also amusement rides that never fail to give an unforgettable thrill to daredevils out there. If you are looking for something more extreme, you can jump off the tower at the Sky Jump which is considered to be one of the highest freefalls in the world. Nothing to worry about but your 800-foot drop will be controlled by state-of-the-art technology.

Play ‘at Caesars Palace’

Caesars Palace has been welcoming guests from all parts of the globe for almost 50 years, which makes it a really iconic place to visit when in Vegas. Caesars boasts of its classic properties which not one casino in Vegas can match when it comes to their personality and taste. Place a bet in their casino. If you are new to casino games, it would be nice to play some simulation games like online roulette or poker. This way you can familiarize yourself with the rules and how you can actually leave Las Vegas with a ton of money.

Ride a Gondola at ‘The Venetian’

Even when in Vegas, you can still get a feel of Italy by exploring the Venetian’s Grand Canal Shoppes. Riding a gondola gives you an impression that you are in Venice after a long day of gambling, shopping, or just walking along Las Vegas Strip. This activity will prove to be romantic to couples out there and is a good time if you are thinking about proposing. No woman can say no to a romantic gondola ride especially when a gondolier serenades her with her favorite love song.

Go Shopping

No Vegas trip is ever complete without shopping in their numerous themed malls. Many signature brands are available in various spots across Vegas. You can go shopping at Shops at the Palazzo in The Venetian. If you are looking for high-end stores like Gucci, Channel, and Tiffany’s, you can go to Via Bellagio Promenade operated by Bellagio. If you are in the mood for your favorite couture like Versace, Valentino, BVLGARI, Louis Vuitton, and many others, you can find them at The Forum Shops. Your choices are endless so you might as well want to a lot an afternoon just for shopping.

Watch a volcanic eruption at The Mirage

The Mirage hotel boasts of its artificial volcano situated just in front of their resort. The volcano, just like areal volcano, makes loud outbursts, shoots real fire, discharges lava, and makes every other tourist who passes by thinks that something is being blown up on the Strip. The show is accompanied by Indian-themed music and is available for you to watch every 30 minutes during the evening.

Visit (a lot of) museums

While most people go to Las Vegas to drink, shop, party, and gamble, you should never forget to visit art museums that are scattered on the Strip and around the city. Hotels like The Cosmopolitan and The Bellagio have their own small art galleries that feature art pieces from all over the globe. Have you ever wondered where do they take the old Vegas neon signs after they are replaced or renovated? You can visit the Neon Museum. It’s owned by a non-profit organization tasked to collect, study, reserve, and exhibit once-famous but still iconic Las Vegas neon signs. This place is also a good spot where you can take your selfie alongside big neon signs! If you wish to know more about the story of the old Vegas which used to be a cradle for Mafia and its organized crimes in the United States, you can go to The Mob Museum.

There you have it! Be sure to keep this list handy for when you visit Las Vegas with your friends and family. Las Vegas has a lot to offer—hotels where they treat you like you are from a royal family, sights that you will never forget, activities that make your heart skip a beat, a lot more.
