This photo was taken from a helicopter, flying over the Las Vegas Strip at nightime. From the northwest, a shot of the intersection cornered by (clockwise) The Flamingo (white), Bally's (blue), The Bellagio, and Caesars Palace. The white ring in front of The Bellagio is the start of a fountain show. The Paris (next to Bally's) was under construction at the time. In the middle-right you can see the "south end" with the big green MGM Grand. Across the Strip (to the west) you can see, from nearest to furthest, Monte Carlo,NYNY, Excalibur,Luxor (black pyramid silhouette) and the gold-colored Mandalay Bay.
